Setting a cleaning fee that works
Price the real turnover. Cleaner, laundry, consumables, and your own time for inspections and restocking. Hosts forget the last two.
Gross up for the platform fee. Airbnb's service fee applies to the cleaning fee too; divide your cost by (1 − fee).
Check comparables. Look at 10 similar listings. If your fee is far above theirs, guests filtering by total price will skip you.
Match it to your minimum stay. High fee + one-night minimum = expensive-looking short stays.

Does Airbnb take a cut of the cleaning fee?
